Whitney got braces! It has taken a long time to get to this day with spacers, palatal expanders, and reluctant baby teeth. And so the orthodontic journey continues with braces (for about 2 years) and then who knows what after that (probably a retainer). Here Whitney explains her braces experience on day one.

Whitney is getting braces! Oh joy...it's time to install the orthodontic palatal expander. If it sounds awful, it's because it is. Whitney's team of orthodontic professionals work to install her perfectly fitted and German engineered oral appliance. Once cemented in place, it's time to turn the screw 6 times, thereby putting an expanding force on Whitney's palate.

It's time for Whitney to start the process of getting braces! First she met with the orthodontist to have a consultation. They took x-rays and photos and came up with a plan. First she will get spacers, then a palatal expander, then in about 6 months she will get her braces. It's exciting and not so exciting all at the same time.
