Maxwell Smart is a bumbling secret agent working for CONTROL, a secret government agency tasked with stopping the evil organization known as KAOS. In this episode, titled "Shock It to Me," Max and his partner Agent 99 are tasked with infiltrating a KAOS training facility disguised as a university for young scientists. The facility, located in Switzerland, trains young people to become KAOS agents and develop new weapons for the organization.
Upon arriving at the facility, Max and 99 decide to pose as a married couple and enroll in the university under the aliases of Fitzhugh and Beulah Bunny. They quickly discover that the training program is much more intense and dangerous than they anticipated. Students are subjected to a series of rigorous and deadly experiments, including being strapped to a rocket and blasted off into space.
As Max and 99 navigate their way through the training program, they must also avoid detection from the head of KAOS, known only as "The Chief." The Chief is suspicious of Max and 99 and assigns his top agent, Hans Hunter, to keep an eye on them.
Despite the challenges they face, Max and 99 are able to gather valuable intelligence on KAOS's plans and develop a plan to disrupt their operation. With the help of a group of fellow trainees, Max and 99 are able to fight against KAOS and come out victorious.
As always, "Shock It to Me" is full of the show's trademark humor and absurdity. Fans of the show will enjoy watching Max and 99 stumble their way through another dangerous mission, while newcomers will appreciate the show's unique blend of spy action and comedy.
