He discovers that Siegfried has been cheating by using a remote-controlled golf ball to sink his shots. Smart is able to counter the cheating by using a magnet to disrupt the ball's signal.

As the tournament continues, Smart finds himself in the lead. However, KAOS agents continue to try and sabotage his game. Smart is able to overcome these obstacles and ends up hitting a hole-in-one on the final hole, giving him the victory.

Overall, "I Shot 86 Today" is a fun and lighthearted episode of Get Smart. The golf tournament provides a unique setting for the spy action, and the addition of the robot caddy adds a futuristic touch. Don Adams and Bernie Kopell have great chemistry as adversaries, and their scenes together are some of the episode's highlights.
