Ep 19. The Mummy

Max and 99 are sent to Egypt to investigate reports of a mummy who has been stealing jewels from the tombs of pharaohs. Along the way, they encounter a group of spies who are also on the hunt for the mummy. After reaching their destination, Max and 99 meet a man named Ali, who claims to know the location of the mummy. He takes them to a secret tomb, where they find the mummy and a group of thieves.

As Max and 99 try to apprehend the thieves, they accidentally awaken the mummy, who begins to chase them through the tomb. Max and 99 manage to escape and meet up with Ali again, who tells them that the mummy is actually an impostor- a man dressed up to look like a mummy. Ali also reveals that the real thief is a woman named Madame Dabree, who has been disguised as a man. The trio sets out to catch Madame Dabree, who is planning to steal the world's largest diamond.

Meanwhile, back in CONTROL headquarters, the Chief learns that he is the only one who can disarm a bomb that has been planted in the control room. Max, 99, and Ali manage to catch Madame Dabree and retrieve the diamond, but they are unable to disarm the bomb. As the clock ticks down, the Chief becomes increasingly nervous and fumbles with the wires.

Finally, just seconds before the bomb is set to explode, the Chief manages to disconnect the wires and save the day. Max and 99 return to America as heroes, having thwarted a major heist and prevented a catastrophic explosion.
