Ep 30. Last One in is a Rotten Spy

Max and 99 are summoned to a rural farm by the Chief in order to investigate the case of a CONTROL agent who has disappeared while on a mission to locate a KAOS side business in the area. Max and 99 pose as newlyweds in order to infiltrate the farm and get to the bottom of what's going on. Despite initial suspicions from the farm's owner, the two are eventually welcomed in and are even able to assist in the farm's production schedule.

However, things take a turn when a KAOS agent shows up at the farm looking for refuge from CONTROL. The KAOS agent is posing as a scientist and has brought with him a sophisticated bomb that is set to detonate if he does not receive the necessary files from his organization. It becomes a race against time for Max and 99 to try and prevent the bomb from exploding, all while trying to avoid arousing suspicion from the KAOS agent and the farm's owner.

As the clock ticks down, Max and 99 are forced to devise a plan that involves getting the KAOS agent to repair the broken machinery on the farm that is hindering production. With the bomb set to go off at any moment, they are able to manipulate the KAOS agent into completing the repairs while also disarming the bomb.

In the end, Max and 99 successfully complete their mission without raising any alarms and ultimately prevent a catastrophic explosion. However, they are quickly swept up in another case as soon as they return to CONTROL headquarters.
