Maxwell Smart, the bumbling spy for CONTROL, is assigned to investigate a series of mysterious deaths that have been occurring at the luxurious Crestwood Lodge. Many of the victims have been drained of their blood, leading CONTROL to believe that a vampire may be on the loose. To make matters worse, the lodge is hosting a secret meeting of international dignitaries over the weekend, and Max must solve the case before any more high-profile individuals fall victim to the supposed vampire.
Max and his partner Agent 99 go undercover as guests at the lodge, where they encounter a colorful cast of characters including the hotel's eccentric owner, a nosy Scottish housekeeper, and an arrogant English professor. While trying to blend in and gather information, Max and 99 soon find themselves in danger when they start getting too close to the truth. They narrowly escape several attempts on their lives as they continue to uncover clues and piece together the identity of the mysterious vampire.
As the investigation heats up, Max and 99 team up with CONTROL's resident vampire expert, Doctor Frankenstein, who provides them with some valuable insight into the mythology and behavior of vampires. They also enlist the help of Agent 44, a skilled assassin who provides backup and lends his expertise to the case. Together, the group devises a plan to catch the vampire and stop the murders once and for all.
However, things don't go quite according to plan as Max and 99 find themselves in a showdown with the vampire in a dramatic final showdown. Tensions run high as they race against the clock to save the remaining guests of the lodge and put an end to the vampire's reign of terror.
