Ep 14. The New Four Kings

The Get Backers, Ginji Amano and Ban Mido, are a duo of "retrievers" who specialize in recovering lost and stolen items for their clients. In episode 14 of season 1, titled "The New Four Kings," the duo is tasked with retrieving a powerful artifact known as the "Four Kings."

The Four Kings are a set of ancient talismans that, when combined, grant their possessor immense power and control over the elements. Rai is a formidable opponent, but Ginji, who has the power to control electricity, is able to hold his own against him. Ban, on the other hand, uses his special ability to create illusions to distract Rai and create an opportunity for Ginji to strike. With Rai defeated, Ginji is able to retrieve the talisman of lightning.

The next King they face is a woman named Himiko Kudou, a powerful psychic who possesses the talisman of water. Himiko is a bit more elusive than Rai, using her psychic powers to manipulate and confuse Ginji and Ban. But the duo is able to outsmart her and obtain the talisman.

The third King is Kazuki Fuuchouin, who possesses the talisman of air. Kazuki is a skilled martial artist and swordsman, and he proves to be a tough opponent for Ginji and Ban. However, they are able to work together and use their unique abilities to take him down and obtain the talisman of air.

The final King is Akabane Kurodo, also known as "Dr. Jackal," who possesses the talisman of fire. Akabane is a sadistic killer who enjoys torturing his opponents before killing them. He proves to be Ginji and Ban's toughest opponent yet, but with the help of some unexpected allies, they are able to defeat him and retrieve the final talisman.

With all four talismans in their possession, Ginji and Ban must now escape the Four Kings' headquarters before they are captured. They face several challenges along the way, including traps, ambushes, and more battles with the Four Kings' minions. But with their skills and teamwork, the duo is able to overcome these obstacles and complete their mission.

"The New Four Kings" is a thrilling and action-packed episode that showcases Ginji and Ban's unique abilities and their ability to work together as a team. It introduces several new characters and sets the stage for future adventures and challenges for the Get Backers.
