A squirrel needs help retrieving its acorn from a tree, a baby bird needs help finding its mother, and a group of ants need help transporting food to their colony. George, being the kind-hearted hero he is, can't say no to their plea for help and spends his entire day solving their problems. By the end of the day, he is exhausted and realizes that being a hero is a full-time job, even on his day off.
