In "License to Swing/ My Own Private Hero," George of the Jungle is faced with two unique challenges. In the first half of the episode, "License to Swing," he must learn how to swing like a true jungle dweller. He enlists the help of Shep, who seems to be an expert in the art of swinging. But when George realizes that Shep is just pretending and has no real experience, the two must figure out a way to help George swing through the jungle with finesse. Along the way, they meet Tippi, a young explorer who is lost in the jungle and needs their help to get home safely.
In the second half of the episode, "My Own Private Hero," George struggles with feeling unimportant and forgotten after he mistakenly believes that his friends are organizing a surprise party for him. Feeling down, he decides to become a superhero and help the jungle in any way he can. But when his attempts to save the jungle result in chaos and destruction, he realizes that being a hero isn't as easy as it seems. With the help of his friends, George learns that personal validation comes from within and that it's okay to feel unimportant sometimes.
Throughout both halves of the episode, viewers will be entertained by George's comical mishaps and the hilarious interactions between him, Shep, and their jungle friends.
