Albert Einstein is quickly becoming one of the brightest students at One of his math professors, Hermann von Helmholtz, encourages Einstein to explore beyond his textbooks and challenge conventional thinking.
As Einstein's studies and theories begin to gain recognition, he meets Mileva Maric, a fellow physics student, and the two form a close bond. Einstein is impressed with Maric's intelligence and together they begin to push the boundaries of science.
However, Einstein's personal life is not as successful. He struggles to find employment as a professor and his ideas are often dismissed by his colleagues. He also faces challenges in his relationship with Maric and their growing family.
As Einstein continues his research, he begins to develop his groundbreaking theory of relativity. But with World War I looming, Einstein is faced with a difficult decision - stay in Germany and risk his safety, or flee the country and leave his loved ones behind.
