Ep 203. Mon, Jan 21, 2019

The episode begins with Sam arriving at Charlie's Pub where she finds her mother, Alexis, drinking. Sam is concerned about Alexis's drinking and tries to convince her to stop but Alexis refuses and tells Sam to leave her alone. Meanwhile, Ava and Julian argue about their past and their relationship. Julian tries to convince Ava to give him another chance but Ava is hesitant.

At General Hospital, Finn and Chase discuss their investigation into the mysterious illness affecting the residents of Port Charles. They are interrupted by a concerned Laura who informs them that her husband, Kevin, has been acting strange and she suspects he may be involved in the illness. Finn and Chase investigate Kevin's office and find evidence that leads them to believe he may be involved.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Carly visits Jason who is recovering from his injuries. She tells him about her concerns regarding Sonny's involvement in the dangerous mob world and wants Jason's help to convince Sonny to get out of the business. Jason agrees to talk to Sonny but warns Carly that it may not be that simple.

At the Metro Court, Nina meets with Valentin to discuss their plans for their upcoming wedding. Nina is happy but nervous about the wedding and Valentin tries to calm her down. Meanwhile, Josslyn comes to see Oscar and brings him a gift. She tells him that she wants to be with him but Oscar is hesitant and doesn't want to hurt her.

Back at General Hospital, Laura confronts Kevin about her suspicions and Kevin denies any involvement in the illness. Laura doesn't believe him and continues to investigate on her own. She goes to see a former patient of Kevin's who is also affected by the illness and discovers a clue that leads her to believe that Kevin may be telling the truth.

Later, Alexis shows up at Sam's house and admits that she needs help with her drinking. Sam is relieved and promises to be there for her mother. Meanwhile, Ava comes to see Julian and tells him that she's willing to give him another chance. Julian is overjoyed and the two share a kiss.

The episode ends with Finn and Chase discovering that Kevin has been kidnapped. They suspect that the person responsible for the kidnapping may also be responsible for the illness. The two decide to continue their investigation and try to find Kevin before it's too late.
