Gene Simmons, a legendary musician and a proud father of his two children Nick and Sophie. He always keeps his personal and professional life separate from each other. But in season 4 episode 4 named "Godfather Gene", we will see Gene Simmons' personal and professional life intersecting.

Gene and Shannon are invited to a party by their friend Carol Alt, and they are excited to attend, but there is a twist. Carol will ask Gene to become the godfather of her new baby, and he agrees without realizing what all responsibilities come with it. Gene, who always lived as a bachelorette, is now worried about fulfilling his responsibilities as a godfather.
Gene decides to seek help from his father, who has been a father figure and role model for Gene. He shares his feelings with his father, and his father guides him through basic responsibilities that he should fulfill as a godfather.
