GARO -VANISHING LINE- is a 2017 anime television series directed by Seong Ho Park and animated by MAPPA. The show is the third installment in the GARO franchise and follows Sword, a young man who travels to the city of Russell City in search of his sister, who went missing years ago.

The series takes place in a world where humanity is threatened by monstrous creatures called Horrors, which can possess humans and feed off their souls. The only ones who can fight these Horrors are the Makai Knights, warriors who possess the power of the Makai and are armed with magical swords and armor. Sword himself is a Makai Knight, but he is also a bit of a rogue, taking on jobs as a bounty hunter to make ends meet.

In his search for his sister, Sword partners up with Sophie, a young girl who is trying to uncover the truth behind her brother's mysterious disappearance. Along the way, they run into other Makai Knights and allies, including Gina, a tough-as-nails Makai Alchemist, and Martin, a buffoonish but well-meaning priest.

One of the standout features of GARO -VANISHING LINE- is its action scenes, which are fast-paced, intense, and often brutal. The fight choreography is top-notch, with each Makai Knight possessing their own unique fighting style and weaponry.
