Ep 14. Outfoxed

In episode 14 of season 2 of Gargoyles, "Outfoxed," we see the return of David Xanatos, the wealthy businessman who has caused trouble for the Gargoyles in the past. Xanatos has been released from prison after serving time for his past crimes, but it quickly becomes clear that he has not turned over a new leaf.

The episode begins with Xanatos proposing a new business venture to Fox, his wife and partner in crime. He wants to build a massive skyscraper in the heart of Manhattan, but he needs a valuable piece of property to do so. When he learns that the property is owned by a wealthy businessman named Halcyon Renard, Xanatos knows he will have to use all his cunning and deceitful tactics to get what he wants.

Meanwhile, the Gargoyles are doing their best to blend in with human society, with Brooklyn taking on the guise of a kindly old man. When he spots Xanatos meeting with Renard, he knows something fishy is going on and reports back to Goliath and the rest of the clan.

As Xanatos and Renard continue to negotiate, it becomes clear that Renard is not interested in selling his property. Xanatos decides to take matters into his own hands and hires Fox to steal a valuable artifact from Renard's castle, which will give Xanatos the leverage he needs to force Renard's hand.

With the help of Owen Burnett, Xanatos' right-hand man, Fox manages to infiltrate Renard's castle and steal the artifact. But as she makes her escape, she is ambushed by Goliath and the other Gargoyles.

A fight breaks out, with Fox showing off her impressive martial arts skills and the Gargoyles using their strength and agility to fend off her attacks. Eventually, Goliath manages to take Fox down and the Gargoyles retrieve the stolen artifact.

As the episode comes to a close, Xanatos and Renard come face to face and Xanatos uses the stolen artifact as leverage to get what he wants. But as always, the Gargoyles are watching and ready to pounce if Xanatos steps out of line.

"Outfoxed" is a thrilling episode that sees the return of some of the show's most memorable characters. Xanatos is as scheming and manipulative as ever, while Fox continues to be a formidable foe for the Gargoyles to face off against. The action is fast-paced and exciting, with plenty of fight scenes to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Overall, "Outfoxed" is a standout episode that will keep fans of the show hooked until the very end.
