Ep 1. The Red Woman

The sixth season of the epic fantasy TV series "Game of Thrones" opens with a gripping episode titled "The Red Woman". Brienne couldn't leave without keeping her oath to Catelyn Stark, she finds Sansa just in time to save her and offer her protection.

In Braavos, Arya Stark is still blind and begging on the streets of the city. She is frequently attacked by the Waif, a fellow trainee of the House of Black and White. Meanwhile, Jaqen H'ghar appears and gives her permission to reclaim her sight. He warns her that she must leave behind her personal attachment, identity and become a faceless man.

In King's Landing, Cersei is still writhing in agony due to her walk of atonement. She is adamant about taking revenge against the High Sparrow and is seen strategizing with Jamie. Their daughter, Myrcella, had been murdered by the Martells, and they're also keen on taking revenge against them. However, an enraged Cersei is convinced to bide her time and plan carefully.

In Dorne, the Sand Snakes conspire to kill Jaime and Bronn. The episode leaves a cliffhanger with characters left in precarious situations.
