In Game of Thrones season 5 episode 4, titled "The Sons Of The Harpy," tensions continue to rise between the ruling class and the lower class in Meereen. Daenerys Targaryen struggles to maintain control over the city as the Sons of the Harpy, a rebel group composed of former slaves, continue their attacks on the Unsullied soldiers and other targets throughout the city.
Meanwhile, in King's Landing, Cersei Lannister works to gain power and control over those around her. She meets with the High Sparrow, the leader of the newly empowered Faith Militant, a religious group that has taken over the city's streets. Her efforts to stack the deck in her favor seem to be working, but her decisions may have unintended consequences.
In the North, the Night's Watch prepares for the arrival of Stannis Baratheon and his army. Jon Snow continues to try to convince his fellow Night's Watch brothers to ally with the wildlings in order to fight the White Walkers. But his attempts to bring peace between the two groups prove difficult, and he faces resistance at every turn.
In other parts of Westeros, Arya Stark continues her training as an assassin under the tutelage of Jaqen H'ghar in Braavos. Meanwhile, in Dorne, Jaime Lannister and Bronn attempt to rescue Jaime's daughter, Myrcella, from the clutches of the Sand Snakes.
As the season continues to unfold, "The Sons Of The Harpy" sets the stage for major power struggles and conflicts to come. The episode showcases the many different factions and forces at work in Westeros and beyond, each with their own motivations and ambitions. With tensions building and tempers flaring, it's clear that this is a world on the brink of major change, where the stakes are high and the consequences of every action are far-reaching and often deadly.
