In Game of Thrones season 5 episode 2, titled "The House of Black and White," the various characters' storylines begin to intertwine as they each embark on their own journeys and face new challenges.
Arya Stark arrives in Braavos and seeks out the House of Black and White, a mysterious building that serves as the headquarters of the Faceless Men, a group of assassins trained in the art of killing without being detected. There, she begins her training as a member of the group but struggles to let go of her old identity and become no one.
Meanwhile, in King's Landing, Cersei Lannister struggles to maintain her power as the Queen Regent, but finds herself at odds with the small council and the Tyrell family, who she suspects of plotting against her. She enlists the help of her uncle Kevan, but he is reluctant to aid her in her schemes.
In the North, Jon Snow continues his mission to unite the various factions of the Night's Watch against the looming threat of the White Walkers. He faces opposition from some members, who are hesitant to believe in the existence of the undead army.
Elsewhere, in Meereen, Daenerys Targaryen attempts to establish control over the city, but finds herself facing new insurrections and challenges. She seeks out advice from her wise council and decides to take a firm stance against the Sons of the Harpy, a group of rebels who are attempting to overthrow her rule.
Finally, in Dorne, Jaime Lannister and Bronn arrive on a mission to rescue Jaime's daughter, Princess Myrcella, who has been taken hostage by the Martell family. They face resistance from the Martells, who are fiercely protective of their own.
As the various storylines begin to converge, tensions rise and new alliances are formed. "The House of Black and White" sets the stage for the dramatic events to come in the rest of the season.
