Ep 5. First of His Name

In the fifth episode of Game of Thrones season 4, titled "First of His Name", we see the aftermath of the events that occurred at the end of the previous episode. King Tommen gets ready for his coronation and is anointed by the high septon. Tywin Lannister and Cersei discuss the future of the throne, and Cersei voices her concerns about Margaery Tyrell's influence over Tommen. Meanwhile, Lady Olenna Tyrell meets with Sansa Stark and offers her help in escaping King's Landing.

In the North, Jon Snow is on a mission to infiltrate the wildlings and gain their trust. He learns that their leader, Mance Rayder, plans to attack Castle Black and decides to warn the Night's Watch. At Castle Black, Samwell Tarly tries to convince Maester Aemon to send a raven to warn the rest of the Seven Kingdoms about the impending attack.

Elsewhere, Daenerys Targaryen faces a rebellion in Meereen, where the former masters attempt to retake the city. Daenerys makes a bold move by crucifying 163 of the former masters, and the rebellion is quelled. She then decides to stay in Meereen to rule and attempts to learn the ways of the people in order to rule justly.

In King's Landing, the not-so-loyal Ser Petyr Baelish arrives to discuss the future with Sansa Stark. He reveals his plan to marry her off to the heir of the Vale, Robin Arryn, in order to secure the Vale's support for the Lannisters.

At the Eyrie, Sansa is reunited with her aunt, Lysa Arryn, who is still obsessed with Petyr. She reveals her jealousy towards Sansa and tries to kill her by pushing her through the moon door, but Petyr intervenes and stops her, killing Lysa in the process.

In the Riverlands, Brienne of Tarth and Podrick Payne continue their search for Sansa Stark. They come across Arya Stark and the Hound, who have just arrived at the Vale. Brienne challenges the Hound to a fight, but is ultimately defeated, leaving Arya to continue her journey alone with the Hound.

Overall, "First of His Name" sets up the events for the remainder of the season, with new alliances being formed, rebellions being quelled, and secrets being revealed. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving audiences eager to see what happens next.
