In the first episode of Galaxy High School season 1, titled "Welcome to Galaxy High," we are introduced to two Earthling students, Doyle and Aimee, who are just starting their first day of school at a high school that caters to students from all around the galaxy. The school is located in an orbiting space station and most of the students are extraterrestrial beings.
Doyle is a typical teenager from Earth, who is trying hard to fit in and make friends. Aimee, on the other hand, is more confident and ready to embrace the challenges that come her way. However, both are in for a surprise when they discover they are not the only human students at Galaxy High. There is another, much more confident, student named Milo De Venus who has been at the school for a while, and has become quite popular among the other students.
As the trio navigates their way through the halls of Galaxy High, they are introduced to various characters, including the school principal (who is a giant alien brain), a robot teacher, and a group of tough-looking, but friendly, alien students. They soon learn that in this school, the usual teenage drama is not limited to mere gossip and popularity contests. Their education here will also involve subjects like asteroid dodging, planetary physics, and alien language studies.
However, not everyone is happy to welcome Doyle and Aimee to the school. There are a couple of bullies, named Beef and Rotten Roland, who make it clear that they do not want humans in their school. They repeatedly go out of their way to make Doyle and Aimee's lives miserable, teasing them and pulling pranks. To make matters worse, there is also a mysterious pink powder that seems to be everywhere in the school and causes strange reactions in those who come in contact with it.
Despite the challenges, the trio tries their best to fit in and make the most of their time at Galaxy High. They attend their classes, explore the different parts of the space station, and even attend a party (which, of course, has a few unexpected twists). Eventually, they realize that the pink powder is causing problems all over the school and they come together to investigate its origins and try to put an end to its effects.
The first episode of Galaxy High School season 1 is an enjoyable introduction to the show's unique setting and characters. The humor in the show is well-balanced, with a mix of lighthearted jokes and more complex sci-fi references that will appeal to viewers of all ages. The plot of the episode is engaging and sets the stage for future adventures and challenges that the students at Galaxy High will face. Overall, "Welcome to Galaxy High" is a great start to a fun and entertaining show.
