In Futurama season 9 episode 3, titled "Decision 3012," the Planet Express crew find themselves wrapped up in a presidential election that will determine the fate of Earth. The episode opens with incumbent President Richard Nixon's approval ratings plummeting after he accidentally destroys the Lincoln Memorial. His opponent in the election is a slick, charismatic alien named Omicron Persei 8, who seems to have the backing of every celebrity and influencer on Earth.

Fry, Bender, and Leela are recruited by the Nixon campaign to help drum up support for the president. They attend a rally where Nixon attempts to rile up the crowd with a series of nonsensical catchphrases ("Who's with me? I said, WHO'S WITH ME?"), but the audience is left confused and silent. Meanwhile, Omicron Persei 8 is throwing a huge party on his campaign ship, complete with dancing girls, laser light shows, and a charismatic speech that promises a new era of prosperity for Earth.

Feeling discouraged, Fry decides to vote for a third-party candidate named Abner Doubledeal, who promises to legalize jaywalking and make all public transportation free. Bender, on the other hand, is determined to get rich off the election by starting a betting pool. He travels to the future and places a huge bet on Omicron Persei 8, only to find out that the alien is secretly planning to destroy Earth if he wins the election.

With Earth's fate hanging in the balance, the Planet Express crew must come up with a plan to stop Omicron Persei 8 and save the planet. They hatch a scheme to hack into the alien's campaign ship and broadcast a fake news report that shows him eating a baby. The plan works, and the election swings in Nixon's favor. However, when the crew returns to Earth, they discover that Nixon has gone mad with power and is now ruling the planet as a tyrant.

Overall, "Decision 3012" is a hilarious and satirical take on the American political process, with plenty of gags and pop culture references thrown in for good measure. It's a must-watch for fans of Futurama and anyone who enjoys witty political satire.
