As Fry, Leela, and Bender are exploring an asteroid, Fry gets infected by a worm-like parasite. While the parasite begins to improve Fry's intelligence and physical ability, it also takes over his personality. Leela and Bender must find a way to remove the parasite before it's too late.
Meanwhile, Professor Farnsworth creates a "shrink ray" and tests it out on the crew. However, the machine malfunctions and shrinks them down to microscopic size, where they enter Fry's body to find and eliminate the parasite.
As they journey through Fry's body, they encounter various organs, cells, and other living entities. They also witness the effects of the parasite on Fry's body, including his deteriorating health.
Throughout their journey, the crew must also work together to avoid various dangers, including white blood cells and antibodies that view them as invaders. They also learn to adapt to the different environments within Fry's body, including the stomach and brain.
As they continue their mission, they ultimately discover the source of the parasite and remove it from Fry's body. With the parasite gone, Fry's health and personality return to normal, and the crew returns to their regular size.
Overall, the episode explores the dangers of relying on quick-fix solutions and the importance of working together to overcome challenges.
