Ep 7. My Three Suns

Futurama season 1 episode 7, titled "My Three Suns," follows the Planet Express crew on a delivery mission to the scorching hot planet of Wormulon. The crew is tasked with delivering a large quantity of bromine to the planet's inhabitants, who use it to control a dangerous creature called the Sun Scorcher.

During their delivery, Fry accidentally falls into a vat of hot bromine and is believed to be dead. However, he is soon revived when he is discovered by the planet's ruler, the omnipotent and tyrannical Emperor of Wormulon. The emperor takes an immediate liking to Fry and takes him under his wing, even going so far as to name him his "protege."

As Fry adjusts to his new life, Bender and Leela rack their brains to figure out how to escape Wormulon and return home. However, they soon discover that the emperor has become obsessed with Fry and refuses to let him leave.

The episode provides a number of comedic moments as well as some unexpected twists and turns. It also offers some insight into the character of Fry, who is shown to be a bit of a simpleton but ultimately has a kind heart.
