The episode titled "Resolution" is the twenty-fourth episode from the first season of the anime series Fushigi Yuugi. The episode begins with a tense moment as the Suzaku warriors have just managed to retrieve a weapon that they need to complete the summoning ritual. They have just four days left before the window of opportunity to summon Suzaku closes, and all hell breaks loose - literally.

Miaka and Tamahome manage to make it back to the capital just in time to save Kouji from being executed by the Eastern army. But as soon as they step into the city, they are ambushed by Nakago and his troops. Meanwhile, Hotohori is grieving over the loss of his fiancee, but he still has to contend with Amiboshi's false identity. The evil forces are using the guise of a prominent musician to infiltrate the palace and spy on the emperor.

Miaka and Tamahome's alliance with Tasuki, Chiriko, and Mitsukake is what enables the Suzaku warriors to come face to face with the evil powers. They engage in a violent battle scene, which ends up being one of the most intense sequences of the series. Tamahome is fighting Nakago, which means that both sides' most powerful warriors are facing against each other.

It is at this point that the Suzaku warriors realize that they need to focus their energies to summon Suzaku. Before they do that, however, they need to pass through a series of obstructions that the enemy has put up in order to prevent them from gathering all of the sacred treasures. The action sequences are well-executed, and the tension is palpable throughout these segments.

But the action sequences are just one part of this episode. The character development is fantastic, particularly in regards to Hotohori. The Emperor of Konan is shown as a complex character who cares deeply about his people and his kingdom. However, his grief and sadness over his loss have taken a toll on his mental and emotional wellbeing. When he finally discovers the truth about Amiboshi's identity, it sends him into a spiral of self-doubt and guilt.

There is a memorable scene towards the end of the episode that underscores the narrative's mythic dimensions. The Suzaku warriors are forced to confront a series of obstacles that they can only overcome with faith and trust in each other. The Suzaku warriors' journey is infused with elements of myth and legend, which help to create a sense of epic grandeur.

As the episode concludes, the Suzaku warriors have managed to gather all the sacred treasures, and they are ready to perform the summoning ritual. But they are running out of time, and the stakes are higher than ever. The episode leaves the audience on the edge of their seats, eagerly anticipating the next episode.

Overall, "Resolution" is a great episode that manages to pack a lot of action, character development, and mythic resonance into twenty-five minutes. The series' mix of epic adventure and character-driven storytelling is on full display, creating moments that are both thrilling and emotionally resonant. The episode is a satisfying payoff for the storylines that have been building up for several episodes, and it ends on a cliffhanger that will make you want to watch the next episode right away.
