Ep 21. To Protect You

Miaka and her companions finally arrive at the capital, where they plan to ask the emperor for help in summoning Suzaku. However, they soon discover that the emperor is not as benevolent as they thought, and they become embroiled in a power struggle involving the emperor's trusted advisor, Tomo. Meanwhile, Miaka's enemies continue to plot against her, and Tamahome begins to question his loyalty to them. As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, everyone must make difficult choices in order to protect those they love.
