Ep 15. The City of Resurrection

Miaka and her companions land in a new city. They learn from a local woman that the city is named Bôshi and it's supposed to be the final destination of the Suzaku Seven. They believe that they will find the last Celestial Warrior in this city. The team starts searching the city and they land in a graveyard. Suddenly, they experience strange things. Miaka encounters her deceased friend Yui, and Tamahome meets his own family members who died long ago.

Meanwhile, Tamahome's rival Nakago has also entered the city and meets Tomo, one of the Seiryu Seven. Tomo tells Nakago about his plan to create distrust and chaos among Miaka's team. He tells Nakago that he plans to impersonate Tamahome's friend Yui and spread falsehood to create chaos. Nakago agrees to Tomo's plan, and the two of them set out to implement their plan.

In the city, the team is still experiencing strange incidents. They realize that they are not real and are just illusions. However, they still cannot figure out what is going on in Bôshi. They meet a woman named Mayo who enlightens them. She tells them that Bôshi is a city of the dead and the illusions are caused by spirits who are stuck in the city. Mayo warns them that they should leave the city immediately if they want to prevent any harm.

Meanwhile, Tamahome's team is completely unaware that their friend Yui is already dead, and the one they are seeing is a fake. When the fake Yui tells Miaka that Tamahome does not want to be with her anymore, Miaka is heartbroken. She is devastated and starts crying. Tamahome is enraged when he hears this and starts to attack the fake Yui. Tamahome realizes that the fake Yui is an impostor and reveals his identity. Tomo then shows up and confirms to the group that he is the one who sent the fake Yui to cause a rift in their team. Tamahome fights Tomo, and with his friends' help, they defeat Tomo and remove the curse from the city.

After everything is over, Miaka is happy to hear that Tamahome still wants to be with her. However, Tamahome still tries to hide his feelings for her. Both of them head towards the exit of the city, but suddenly, Tamahome disappears. The team is shocked and doesn't know what to do. They are left wondering where Tamahome has gone.
