Ep 59. Lost Light

The episode "Lost Light" is the 59th episode of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood season 1. In this episode, the Elric brothers, Edward and Alphonse, continue their journey to uncover the truth behind the Philosopher's Stone and bring back their bodies to their original form.

The chimeras attack the brothers, but they are rescued by a group of soldiers led by a man named Buccaneer.

Buccaneer tells the brothers that he is part of a secret military group called the Briggs Fortress, which is located in the north. He explains that the group is trying to stop the mysterious group from obtaining the Philosopher's Stone, and that they need the Elric brothers' help. In exchange for their assistance, he offers to help them find the Philosopher's Stone.

The Elric brothers agree to help Buccaneer and his group, and they set off towards the Briggs Fortress. Along the way, they encounter a strange creature called a homunculus, which is able to regenerate its body and has incredible strength. The creature attacks the brothers, but they are able to defeat it by working together.

As they continue their journey, the Elric brothers begin to learn more about the mysterious group and their plans for the Philosopher's Stone. They discover that the group is led by a man named Father, and that they are seeking to create a new world by using the power of the Philosopher's Stone.

As the episode comes to a close, the Elric brothers arrive at the Briggs Fortress and meet with its commanding officer, Major General Olivier Armstrong. She explains that the fortress is located in a strategic location that makes it difficult for the mysterious group to attack, and that they are the last line of defense against the group.

The episode ends with the Elric brothers preparing to join forces with the soldiers of the Briggs Fortress in their fight against the mysterious group. As they face their most dangerous enemies yet, the brothers must continue to rely on their alchemical powers and their bond of brotherhood in order to survive.
