In the thirteenth and final episode of Fuller House's third season, "A Tommy Tale," Stephanie and Jimmy decide to throw a 1st birthday party for their son, Tommy. However, when Kimmy reveals that she has booked an Elvis impersonator for the occasion, Stephanie realizes that she and Jimmy have different ideas about how to celebrate their son's big day.
Stephanie, who has been planning the party down to the last detail, is dismayed to learn that Jimmy has invited his entire family without consulting her. As the two try to work out their differences, the party planning takes a backseat to the drama that ensues when Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky have a disagreement over whether or not to let their daughter, Josie, have her own phone.
Meanwhile, DJ tries to distract herself from her recent break-up with Matt by focusing on the party preparations, while Steve helps Max build a fort in the backyard. Kimmy, who is still reeling from her recent split with Fernando, finds comfort in the company of Ramona, who has turned into quite the party planning pro.
As the day of the party arrives, tensions are high, but the family puts their differences aside to celebrate Tommy's milestone. However, when the Elvis impersonator arrives, things take an unexpected turn as the family learns a surprising secret about one of their own.
Throughout the episode, the themes of family, love, and communication are highlighted as the characters navigate their various relationships and challenges. From Steph and Jimmy's differing parenting styles to Jesse and Becky's disagreement over tech use, the show explores the struggles and joys of family life in a heartfelt and humorous way.
As the season comes to a close, viewers are left with the sense that the Tanner-Fuller-Gibbler clan is as strong and united as ever. Full of laughs, tears, and surprises, "A Tommy Tale" is a fitting end to a season filled with heartwarming moments and memorable episodes. Fans will undoubtedly be eagerly awaiting the next installment of this beloved family comedy.
