Joey's Funny Valentine is the sixteenth episode of the seventh season of the hit sitcom Full House. This episode centers around one of the show's most beloved characters, Joey Gladstone, and his comedic misadventures on Valentine's Day.
The episode begins with Joey realizing that he hasn't had a Valentine in years. He becomes determined to finally find a love interest, but his attempts at asking out women on the street go awry. Meanwhile, Danny, Jesse, and Becky are planning a romantic Valentine's Day dinner, but their plans are threatened by Becky's work schedule.
As Joey continues his search for a date, he decides to create a hilarious personal ad. His ad includes a variety of silly and exaggerated claims about himself, including that he's a millionaire and a superhero. When he receives a response from a woman named Felicia, he is overjoyed and immediately sets up a date. However, when Felicia arrives, Joey quickly realizes that she is not quite what he expected, and their date is filled with awkward and uncomfortable moments.
Back at the Tanner house, Jesse and Danny are struggling to come up with a backup plan for their Valentine's Day dinner when Joey unexpectedly arrives with a heart-shaped pizza. However, things quickly go downhill when Joey accidentally spills soda all over the pizza.
Later, Joey tries again to find a Valentine, this time by taking one of his friends' advice to be more honest in his personal ad. He creates a new ad in which he simply describes himself as an average guy who loves to make people laugh. This time, he receives a response from a woman named Cindy who seems perfect. They make plans to meet at the local arcade, but when Joey arrives, he discovers that Cindy is a professional wrestler who is twice his size. Despite the physical mismatch, Joey tries to impress her by challenging her to an arm-wrestling match, but he is quickly defeated.
Meanwhile, Becky and Jesse are planning to enjoy a romantic night in, but their plans are once again thwarted when they receive a call from the restaurant where they made reservations, telling them that their table is no longer available. Feeling discouraged, they decide to order takeout and stay in, but Joey accidentally ruins their romantic mood by having a loud argument with Cindy outside the door.
In the end, Joey realizes that he doesn't need a Valentine to be happy, and he spends the evening hanging out with his friends at the Tanner house. Jesse and Becky also come to the realization that their love is all they need, and they enjoy a romantic dance in the living room. The episode ends with the whole family gathered together, sharing a happy Valentine's Day together.
