In Full House season 5 episode 4 titled Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Little Girl Gone?, Stephanie gets on the nerves of everyone in the household after she signs up for a Little Miss San Francisco pageant. As she begins to practice various routines, her loud and out-of-tune singing and constant tap dancing disturbs the peace in the Tanner household.
Meanwhile, Danny is swamped with work and must find a babysitter for Michelle, but he also has to prepare for an important morning news segment with his co-worker, Rebecca. Jesse leaves for a few days to attend a concert, leaving the house in chaos without him. Danny asks Joey, who is always up for a good time, to take care of Michelle until he returns from work.
As the pressure of the pageant starts to get to Stephanie, she has trouble dealing with the different routines she has to perform, including a bit where she has to sing and dance together. She becomes too focused on the pageant to the point where she begins to neglect everything else, including her studies and even her hygiene.
Soon enough, the day of the pageant arrives and the entire family attends to show their support. However, things don't go according to plan when Stephanie forgets all of the lyrics to the song she is supposed to sing, which leaves her crumbling on the stage. The entire family feels sorry for her and tries to lift her spirits up afterwards.
Later, the family tries to pull themselves back together by spending time together at home. Stephanie becomes sad and disappointed which prompts Uncle Jesse, who has just returned from his trip, to sit down with her and encourage her not to give up on her dreams, but to work harder and keep trying. He tells her that failure is a part of life and that it's important to learn from it in order to succeed.
After some comforting words from everyone in the family, Stephanie realizes that the pageant was not the end of the world and that she still has many opportunities to make a difference in the world. She goes up to her room to work on a new song and later surprises the family with a flawless performance. With renewed confidence and determination, Stephanie dismisses her disappointment and moves forward motivated!
Full House season 5 episode 4 is an entertaining and heart-touching episode with relatable family issues, lessons, and a fair amount of comedy. It is definitely one for the family to enjoy together.
