Ep 22. Stephanie Plays the Field

Stephanie Tanner has a new crush, a boy named Josh. However, when he asks her to go on a date with him to a baseball game, Stephanie panics. She has never been to a baseball game before and knows nothing about the sport. She seeks advice from her family members, who all have their own opinions about dating and baseball.

Danny tries to prepare Stephanie for the game by teaching her the basics of baseball. Joey offers more practical advice, suggesting that Stephanie bring a book to read during the game so she won't be bored. Uncle Jesse, on the other hand, encourages Stephanie to be herself and not worry about impressing Josh.

Meanwhile, Steve, D.J.'s boyfriend, is feeling left out since D.J. has been spending all her time with her new job and doesn't have time for him. He confides in Danny, who suggests that he do something special for D.J. to show her how much he cares. Steve decides to organize a surprise picnic for D.J., but things don't go according to plan.

As the day of the baseball game approaches, Stephanie becomes more nervous about her lack of knowledge about the sport. Her family members try to reassure her, but she still feels inadequate. When she meets up with Josh at the game, she tries to fake her way through conversations about baseball, but it becomes clear that she doesn't know what she's talking about.

Meanwhile, Steve's picnic plans are derailed when he accidentally sets the grill on fire. D.J. is disappointed and upset, feeling like Steve doesn't understand her busy schedule. However, Steve makes it up to her by cleaning up the mess and giving her a heartfelt apology.

Back at the baseball game, Stephanie realizes that she doesn't have to pretend to know everything about baseball to impress Josh. She decides to be honest with him and admit that she doesn't know much about the sport. To her surprise, Josh appreciates her honesty and offers to teach her more about baseball.

In the end, Stephanie learns that it's okay to be herself and that honesty is always the best policy. Steve and D.J. also reconcile, realizing that they each need to make time for each other even when life gets busy. The family comes together to support each other and celebrate the important things in life.
