In Full House season 3 episode 12, "Joey & Stacy and ... Oh, Yeah, Jesse," the Tanner family is getting ready for an important event - Danny and Becky are co-hosting a telethon to raise money for a local charity. Joey and Jesse also promise to help out at the telethon, but their plans get sidetracked when they meet a beautiful woman named Stacy at a restaurant.
Joey and Stacy hit it off immediately, and she invites him to go to a concert with her that same night. Jesse is disappointed that Joey is bailing on their commitment to the telethon, but Joey insists that he will still make it in time. Meanwhile, Stephanie is feeling left out of all the grown-up events happening in the house, so she asks Danny to let her help out at the telethon as well.
As the night unfolds, Joey's plans with Stacy start to go awry. They miss their train and have to drive to the concert instead. On the road, they have a series of mishaps that delay them even further. Meanwhile, Jesse is doing his best to manage the telethon on his own, but he's clearly overwhelmed.
Stephanie, eager to prove herself, comes up with a plan to boost donations by convincing her classmates to call in and donate money. Her plan works surprisingly well, and the telethon starts to gain momentum. However, as the night wears on, Jesse's exhaustion and frustration start to get the best of him. He snaps at Stephanie and almost gives up on the telethon altogether.
Just in the nick of time, Joey and Stacy arrive at the telethon, with only a few minutes left to spare. They've had a terrible night, but Joey insists on fulfilling his commitment to Danny and helping out with the telethon. Jesse is grateful for Joey's arrival, and with renewed energy, they're able to finish the show on a high note.
In the end, Danny and Becky express their gratitude to everyone who helped with the telethon, and they announce that they've raised a record-breaking amount of money for the charity. Stephanie is thrilled to have played a part in the success of the event, and Joey is relieved that he was able to make it back in time to help out. And as for Jesse...well, he's just happy to have his best friend back by his side.
