Ep 6. The One With The Halloween Party

In season 8 episode 6 of Friends, titled "The One With The Halloween Party," the gang celebrates Halloween in full swing, complete with costumes and pumpkin carving. Monica and Chandler decide to throw a Halloween party at their place, and everyone is excited about dressing up in their favorite costumes.

Joey and Chandler decide to go as the double-dipper and the big-kid-at-heart, respectively, while Ross is a potato and Rachel goes as a pink bunny. Phoebe, on the other hand, is upset that no one understands her costume, as she went as the supergirl.

As the party is about to begin, Rachel's assistant comes over to babysit Emma, and Rachel tries to coax her into wearing a costume. Meanwhile, Monica is freaking out because she hasn't gotten any trick-or-treaters and is worried she bought too much candy.

As the guests arrive, Joey faces a dilemma when he discovers that Chandler's costume is much better than his. He decides to hide his own costume and wear Chandler's, which leads to some hilarious moments. Ross also has a surprise for everyone—he's brought his new girlfriend, Mona, to the party, much to Rachel's shock.

As the party gets into full swing, Chandler's costume starts to become a hit, and Joey is irritated that he's had to wear his clothes all night. Rachel's assistant, as expected, doesn't take the costume idea seriously and arrives at the party dressed as herself. Joey, fed up with the situation, decides to take revenge, which leads to an awkward encounter with Rachel's assistant.

As the party continues, Ross and Mona confront Rachel about their relationship, which leads to some complicated emotions. Meanwhile, Phoebe is upset that nobody is noticing her costume and decides to take matters into her own hands by announcing that she's Supergirl.

The party comes to a close with Chandler winning the best costume prize, and Joey getting his revenge against Rachel's assistant in the most unexpected way possible. All in all, "The One With The Halloween Party" is a hilarious Friends episode that captures the essence of Halloween while also showcasing the iconic dynamics between all of the characters in the show.
