Ep 11. The One With All The Cheesecakes

Monica receives a delivery from her Aunt Sylvia which contains a delicious cheesecake. Phoebe, who's visiting, insists on having some even though they were supposed to make it their secret. An argument ensues about whether they should eat it or not leading them to find out that they don't have to share the cake and that their secret boundary was an unnecessary limitation.

Meanwhile, Chandler and Rachel stumble upon another cheesecake on the hallway floor while returning from dinner at one of their neighbor's apartments. They decide to finish it off with forks. They try to savor the cheesecake alone by not telling Joey, who lives with Chandler, but Joey enters as they're about to dig in. They deceive him to think that the cake fell on the floor and they're feeding the cat. But, Joey finds out the truth and joins in too.

As they're indulging in their own private cheesecake rendezvous, Chandler's phone rings. It's his boss who has an emergency he needs to handle and he has been instructed to go to Tulsa. This means Chandler has to leave at once. Chandler is annoyed because he's never been sent out of town before and this means leaving without Rachel and Joey -- his partners in crime. So, he's determined to make the most of the night and eat all the cheesecake before he leaves.

Rachel and Joey come to visit Chandler's office before he leaves and join him for some more cheesecake in the break room. However, Joey ends up falling asleep in Chandler's office, leading to Ryan - Chandler's colleague - witnessing Chandler having a slice of the cheesecake. Ryan feels betrayed and hurt because Chandler had promised to always have cheesecake with him.

Chandler feels torn having to choose between his love for cheesecake and his friendship with Ryan, but he decides to go back to his office and apologize to his colleague. Meanwhile, Rachel and Joey are still in the break room and find out that there's one more cheesecake left for them to finish. Thankful for Chandler's absence, they indulge in the cake while bemoaning his inability to control his cheesecake obsession.

Over at Monica's apartment, she and Phoebe have finished off their cheesecake, and Sylvia sends a note informing her that she's coming over the next day. Deciding that they can't let Sylvia know that they ate her cheesecake, Phoebe and Monica decide to order more for Sylvia. However, the delivery guy arrives early during their attempt to trick Sylvia, leading to a hilarious exchange about why they don't need more cheesecake and why he can't have any.

The episode ends with everyone happy after their cheesecake binges except for Chandler, who has to spend the night in Tulsa. Monica and Phoebe reconcile and allow themselves to eat the extra cheesecake they ordered with Sylvia. Joey, Chandler, and Rachel have an awkward exchange about how they felt about their cheesecake excursion while planning to continue it upon Chandler's return.
