Ep 5. The One With Joey's New Girlfriend

Ross, Rachel, and Chandler try to guess the recipient of a sweater that Phoebe made, with their extended speculation turning the process into a game that causes amusement amongst the friends. When Joey starts seeing a girl named Kathy, Chandler takes a sudden interest in spending time with her, which Joey isn't too happy about, leading to a divide between the two friends. Meanwhile, despite her surprising singing talent, Monica is fired from her job as a waitress at the Moondance Diner due to a customer complaint, which causes her to clash with Phoebe again on account of Phoebe's new music writing opportunity. Ultimately, Joey and Chandler become better friends again after a heartfelt conversation, and Joey brings Kathy around to meet the whole gang.
