Ep 6. The One With The Flashback

In Friends season 3 episode 6, titled The One With The Flashback, the gang reminisces about how they all first met each other. The episode begins with everyone hanging out at Monica's apartment, and Chandler reveals that he and Ross went to a college party in 1987 where they saw Monica for the first time. This triggers a flashback to that time period, where we see a younger Ross, Chandler, and Monica.

Meanwhile, Monica is trying to win over the affections of another man at the party, but he seems more interested in her friend Phoebe. As the night goes on, everyone makes their way back to Monica's apartment (which she shares with her grandmother) and the gang continues to bond.

Back in the present day, the gang also reminisces about the time when Joey and Chandler first became roommates, and we see another flashback to when they first moved in together. The apartment is a mess, and Joey is quickly eating all of Chandler's food. But despite their differences, the two of them quickly form a close bond.
