In season 2 episode 19 of Friends, titled "The One Where Eddie Won't Go," the friends are all dealing with their own issues. Chandler has gotten himself into a bit of a pickle, as his new roommate Eddie has quickly gone from being a perfectly normal guy to a total weirdo who won't leave their apartment. Rachel is trying her best to be a good friend to Joey, who is struggling to find work as an actor. And Monica is getting ready for a big job interview at a fancy restaurant.
The episode begins with Chandler waking up in the middle of the night to find Eddie sitting in the living room, watching him sleep. He quickly tries to make excuses to get Eddie to leave so he can go back to bed, but Eddie is completely oblivious to Chandler's discomfort. Over the next few days, Chandler becomes increasingly frustrated with Eddie's bizarre behavior, which includes everything from cleaning the apartment obsessively to copying Chandler's clothing choices.
Meanwhile, Rachel is trying to help Joey get a job by setting up an audition for him with her boss, Mr. Zelner. But Joey's nerves get the best of him and he ends up flubbing the audition, much to Rachel's disappointment. She tries to encourage him to keep trying, but Joey is starting to lose hope.
Monica, on the other hand, is feeling pretty good about herself as she prepares for her interview at the fancy restaurant. She's confident that she's the best candidate for the job and is excited at the prospect of working in such a prestigious establishment. But when she arrives at the restaurant, she's shocked to discover that the head chef is her ex-boyfriend, Richard. The two haven't seen each other in years, and Monica is clearly thrown off her game by the unexpected encounter.
As the episode progresses, things come to a head with Eddie. Chandler finally snaps and tells him that he needs to move out, which leads to a tense standoff between the two roommates. Joey, meanwhile, decides to take matters into his own hands and shows up at Mr. Zelner's office to ask for another chance at the audition. And Monica has to decide whether or not to confront Richard about their past relationship.
All of these storylines come to a head in the final scene, which is both hilarious and heartwarming. Without giving anything away, let's just say that the friends all come together to help each other out in their time of need, and it's a perfect example of why this show is so beloved by fans all over the world.
Overall, "The One Where Eddie Won't Go" is a classic episode of Friends that showcases the show's trademark blend of humor and heart.
