Ep 17. The One With Two Parts (2)

Ross takes on a new role as Rachel's gynecologist much to her chagrin, as she contends with a pregnancy scare. Ross, fortunately, assures her that it’s just the appendix. Chandler and Joey sign up for a fertility study but disagree on the nature of the suggestive medical experiment the study requires, leading to misunderstandings and playful banter. While Monica plans Rachel’s baby shower, Phoebe teaches Joey to speak French for an upcoming audition. When Joey hits the jackpot with French, Phoebe enlists him to help interpret her ex-boyfriend's note in French. When multiple former flames (including Rachel's) show up at the surprise baby shower, Ross has a faulty reaction after Joey helps him battle with his jealousy. Meanwhile, Chandler and Monica encounter another couple with their baby at the fertility research center, leading them to reflect on their own future prospects. After witnessing a total misunderstanding that occurred between Chandler and Joey, Chloe, an attractive colleague at Joey’s workplace, starts to pass him suggestive messages leading to temptation.
