Jonny brings his new girlfriend over to the Goodman family's weekly Friday night dinner, and the evening quickly becomes chaotic. The episode follows the Goodman family as they prepare for dinner, with each member getting up to their own antics. Adam is excited to show his brothers a new jingle he's written for a water filter advertisement, but his brothers are less than impressed.

As the family gathers around the table for dinner, tensions rise between brothers Adam and Jonny. When Jonny's girlfriend, who has never been to a Jewish family dinner before, starts to ask questions, things go from bad to worse. Suddenly, the family dog Wilson runs into the room and starts attacking the family's prized possession, a valuable antique vase passed down through generations.

As the family tries to save the vase, chaos ensues. Adam's jingle plays in the background as the family tries to figure out how to stop Wilson and save the vase. In the end, Jonny's girlfriend saves the day and the vase is saved.

Despite the chaos, the family manages to sit down together and enjoy their meal. During dinner, Grandma recounts the story of how the antique vase came into the family's possession, giving viewers a glimpse into the Goodman family's history.

Throughout the episode, viewers get a sense of the family dynamics and the quirks of each family member. The show's humor is often slapstick and relies on the family's ability to inadvertently cause chaos and confusion.

Overall, "The Jingle" is a lighthearted and entertaining episode that showcases the Goodman family's unique brand of dysfunction. With its quirky characters and clever writing, the show is sure to keep viewers laughing from start to finish.
