Fred: The Show is an American television sitcom that aired on Nickelodeon from January to August 2012. The show is a spin-off of the Fred film series, also produced by Nickelodeon. The show's protagonist is Fred Figglehorn, a hyperactive and imaginative teenager portrayed by Lucas Cruikshank. Fred loves nothing more than making YouTube videos starring himself and his many alter-egos, each with their own distinct personality and voice. In the show, Fred frequently breaks the fourth wall by speaking directly to the camera, adding to his quirky and unpredictable personality.

The show follows Fred's misadventures as he tries to navigate life in the fictional town of Boxford, which is filled with eccentric characters and strange occurrences. Alongside his best friend and trusty sidekick, Bertha (played by Daniella Monet), Fred embarks on a variety of wacky adventures, from trying to impress his crush, Judy (played by Siobhan Fallon Hogan), to starting his own lawn mowing business.

One of the recurring themes of the show is Fred's love of creating videos. In each episode, Fred showcases a different one of his many alter-egos, such as Derf, who is the opposite of Fred and always makes the wrong decisions, or Frieda, who is a sassy and confident girl who dishes out advice. As Fred's alter-egos become more popular, he starts to grapple with issues of fame and the pressure to continue producing content.

The show also features a number of adult characters who serve as foils to Fred's antics. His mother, Hilda (played by Pixie Lott), is a strict disciplinarian who is constantly exasperated by her son's antics, while his father, Kevin (played by John Cena), is a goofy, bumbling dad who often gets himself into embarrassing situations. Meanwhile, Mr. Devlin (played by Jake Weary) is Fred's nemesis, a mean-spirited neighbor who is always trying to one-up him.

Throughout its 24-episode run, Fred: The Show received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised its zany energy and Cruickshank's performance as Fred, others criticized it for being too chaotic and lacking the emotional depth of other Nickelodeon shows. Nevertheless, the show was popular with its target audience of kids and young teenagers, and helped to solidify Fred as a beloved character in the Nickelodeon universe.

Overall, Fred: The Show is a fun and lighthearted series that offers plenty of laughs and silly hijinks. With its charming protagonist and colorful cast of characters, it's a must-watch for fans of the Fred series and anyone who enjoys a good dose of comedic mayhem.

Fred: The Show is a series that ran for 1 seasons (24 episodes) between January 16, 2012 and on Nickelodeon
