Ep 1. Pilot

A group of high school students are attending Saturday detention at Kent High School when suddenly a chemical plant nearby explodes, causing a massive shockwave and cutting off their communication with the outside world. As they try to figure out what is happening, they start to realize that the blast has caused some kind of mutation in the people outside who are now turning into ravaging zombies.

A survivor of the initial attack, a drifter named LeShaen, breaks into the school and warns the students that they need to board up the school and protect themselves from the infected. With no other options, they follow his advice, but quickly learn that the infected are not the only threat as tensions rise and alliances are tested among the group.

As the day wears on, the survivors must come to terms with the fact that they may be trapped inside the school for a while, and will need to find a way to ration their food and water while avoiding the rampaging zombies outside. However, as they soon discover, not everyone in the group can be trusted, and they may have enemies among their own ranks.

As night falls, the situation inside the school becomes even more dire as the zombies tighten their grip on the building, and the survivors realize that they may need to fight their way out if they want to survive. With LeShaen's guidance, they start to formulate a plan, but it may already be too late as the zombies have broken through the barricades.
