Frasier season 9 episode 17, titled "Three Blind Dates," follows Frasier as he accepts an offer from Roz to set him up on three dates. Nervous and unsure of what to expect, Frasier goes on the first date with a woman named Denise, a successful lawyer who seems to have much in common with him. However, as the night goes on, Frasier discovers that she also has some annoying habits that he finds hard to overlook.
The second date is with a woman named Gretchen, who is an aspiring dancer. Frasier is initially impressed by her moves and her enthusiasm for dance, but as the night progresses, he begins to feel like her passion for dance could potentially overshadow any relationship she might have. Meanwhile, Niles and Daphne are still trying to keep their pregnancy under wraps, making for some amusing moments as they try to avoid suspicion.
The third and final date is with a woman named Marie, who is a passionate animal rights activist. Frasier finds her cause admirable and agrees to go with her to a rally, but soon realizes that her activism takes up almost all of her time and energy, leaving little room for anything else in her life. As Frasier returns home feeling defeated and disappointed, he wonders if he will ever find someone who shares his values and interests.
Throughout the episode, Frasier's interactions with his dates provide plenty of laughs and cringe-worthy moments. There are also some touching moments, particularly in a scene where Frasier reconnects with an old flame who is attending the same charity event he is at. As the episode comes to a close, things seem to be looking up for Frasier in the romance department, but there are still plenty of twists and turns to come in his search for love.
