In Frasier season 7 episode 4, titled "Everyone's a Critic," Frasier finds himself in hot water when he makes a critical comment about a local restaurant on his radio show. The owner of the restaurant, who happens to be a friend of Frasier's father Martin, is outraged by the comment and demands an apology. Frasier, feeling humiliated and ashamed, tries to smooth things over by inviting the owner to his apartment for a gourmet dinner prepared by his personal chef, but things don't go as planned.

Meanwhile, Niles is busy juggling a work emergency with the arrival of a new housekeeper, who turns out to be more trouble than she's worth. Daphne, still reeling from her breakup with Donny, tries to distract herself by focusing on a new hobby: making pottery.

As the episode progresses, tensions rise between Frasier and the restaurant owner, culminating in a showdown at the dinner party that leaves everyone feeling more than a little uncomfortable. With hilariously awkward moments and plenty of witty banter, "Everyone's a Critic" is a classic episode of this beloved sitcom.
