Frasier season 7 episode 22, titled "Dark Side of the Moon," follows the Crane family as they try to navigate their way through some complex relationship issues. The episode starts off with Frasier Crane, the protagonist of the show, struggling to figure out whether or not he wants to pursue a relationship with his girlfriend Cassandra. Frasier is having a hard time figuring out exactly what he wants from this relationship, and he spends most of the episode mulling over his feelings and trying to make sense of them.

Meanwhile, Frasier's brother Niles is having his own relationship troubles. He has recently started dating Mel, a wealthy and successful woman who seems to have everything a man could want. However, Niles feels like something is missing from their relationship, and he's not sure if he can continue seeing her if he can't figure out what it is.

To complicate matters further, Frasier's father Martin is having a romantic crisis of his own. He has been seeing his girlfriend Sherry for a while now, but he's starting to feel like their relationship has run its course. Martin is unsure if he wants to continue seeing Sherry or if he should seek out a new love interest.

As the episode unfolds, we see the Cranes working through their various relationship issues in their own unique ways. Frasier spends time talking to his friends and family about his feelings for Cassandra, while Niles seeks advice from a therapist. Martin, on the other hand, turns to his trusty dog Eddie for comfort and guidance.

Despite all of their different approaches, the Cranes eventually come to some realizations about their respective relationships. Frasier decides that he wants to continue seeing Cassandra, even if he's not totally sure about their future as a couple. Niles comes to understand that the missing piece in his relationship with Mel is passion, and he sets out to try and reignite the spark between them. Martin, after much soul-searching, ultimately decides that he wants to stay with Sherry and give their relationship another shot.

As the episode draws to a close, we see the Crane family coming together to support one another in their various romantic endeavors. They may not have everything figured out, but they're all committed to working through their problems and finding happiness in their own way. "Dark Side of the Moon" is a touching and heartfelt episode that showcases the complexities of modern relationships and the importance of communication and understanding in making things work.
