Frasier season 5 episode 24, Sweet Dreams, sees the Crane family struggling with their own personal dreams and nightmares.
Frasier's girlfriend, Cassandra, has a recurring nightmare where she can't find Frasier and fears he is gone forever. Frasier tries to help her confront her fears by taking her to a dream analysis session with his own therapist, Dr. Lilith Sternin. However, this only leads to further complications when Lilith reveals an interest in Frasier and Cassandra begins to feel threatened.
Meanwhile, Niles is battling his own recurring dream where he is being chased by a giant marshmallow. He can't seem to shake it and even turns to hypnosis to try and solve the problem. When he invites Daphne to join him, things get a little complicated as they both reveal some hidden feelings for each other.
Elsewhere, Martin and Roz are dealing with their own unique sleep issues. Martin has become addicted to sleeping pills and Roz can't seem to get any sleep at all, leading to some hilarious scenes and misunderstandings.
