In "Where Every Bloke Knows Your Name," the tenth episode of Frasier's fifth season, the titular character and his younger brother, Niles, are enjoying drinks at their favorite bar when they encounter an old friend from their school days, Marco. Fraiser and Niles are initially excited to see him, but their enthusiasm wanes when they realize that he hasn't changed in the slightest over the years.

As the brothers struggle to come up with an excuse to leave, Marco introduces them to a group of his friends, a collection of unremarkable blokes who all seem to blend together. Frasier and Niles quickly become bored with the conversation, and when Marco invites them to join him for a drink at a new bar, they're hesitant, but Marco is insistent.

At the new bar, Frasier and Niles are immediately struck by the friendly atmosphere, and they both feel more relaxed than they have in a long time. The bartender, Pete, is charming and personable, and the regulars all seem to know and like one another. Frasier and Niles are impressed by the sense of community they witness, and they both enjoy their conversations with Pete and the other patrons.

As the night wears on, Frasier and Niles become more and more intoxicated, and their conversations turn increasingly personal. They start reminiscing about their childhood and their lives in Seattle, revealing things to each other that they might not have shared sober.

Meanwhile, back at the bar they usually frequent, their father, Martin, is looking for a place to sit, but every stool seems to be taken. He eventually ends up standing, and after a few minutes, a woman who's also standing strikes up a conversation with him. Martin is initially hesitant to talk to her, but she's a friendly and engaging conversationalist, and before long they're laughing and joking like old friends.

Frasier and Niles, completely unaware of what's happening back at their usual bar, continue to drink and talk into the evening, enjoying the camaraderie they've found. But when they realize how late it is, they quickly realize that it's time to go home. As they stumble out of the bar, they run into Marco again, who invites them to join him and his friends for another drink. But Frasier and Niles are ready to call it a night, and they decline the invitation.

When they finally arrive home, they're both feeling a little woozy, but they're happy and content. They start talking about their night out and the sense of belonging they experienced at the new bar. Even Martin, who has just arrived home from his own night out, seems impressed by their description of the new place.

As the episode comes to a close, the three Crane men are sitting in their living room, sipping coffee and chatting. It's clear that they've all had a great night, and that they've each found something meaningful in their own way. And while they may not have ended up where they expected, they're all happy to have found themselves at a place where every bloke knows their name.
