Ep 9. Sir Hubris and the Gorgs

In Fraggle Rock season 2 episode 9, entitled "Sir Hubris and the Gorgs", the Fraggles - small, furry creatures who live underground - are on a mission to find a legendary hero named Sir Hubris. According to Fraggle legend, Sir Hubris is the bravest and most skilled warrior in all the land, and the Fraggles are sure that he can help them with their current troubles.

Meanwhile, the Gorgs - giant creatures who live above ground - are having their own problems. Pa Gorg, the head of the family, is sick and tired of being bossed around by his wife Ma Gorg all the time. He decides to make a stand and declare himself king of the castle, but Ma Gorg is not ready to give up her power so easily.

As the Fraggles continue their search for Sir Hubris, they stumble upon the Gorgs' castle and decide to investigate. They soon find themselves in the middle of a battle between Pa and Ma Gorg, each trying to outdo the other in a bid for power. The Fraggles watch in amazement as Sir Hubris suddenly appears, ready to take on the role of peacemaker.

Sir Hubris is unlike any hero the Fraggles have ever seen. He's loud, boastful, and more interested in showing off than actually helping anyone. Nevertheless, the Fraggles are determined to get his help, and so they convince him to step in and mediate the conflict between Pa and Ma Gorg.

What follows is a hilarious and action-packed adventure as Sir Hubris tries to bring peace to the Gorgs. Of course, things don't go quite according to plan, and the Fraggles find themselves caught up in the middle of the chaos.

As always, the episode is filled with delightful songs and catchy tunes, as well as plenty of humor and heart. Fans of Fraggle Rock will love this installment of the series, which manages to blend adventure, comedy, and drama in all the right ways.
