In Fraggle Rock season 2 episode 10, titled "A Friend In Need," the Fraggles are up to their usual mischief when they come across a strange creature who needs their help.
In the episode, a new Fraggle named Begoony arrives in Fraggle Rock, but he's not like any other Fraggle the gang has ever met. He's small, timid, and covered in fur. When the Fraggles discover him hiding in the corner of the Rock, they're eager to welcome him into their community.
But Begoony is plagued by a problem that's unique to him: he's allergic to radishes, and unfortunately for him, the Fraggles' favorite food is...you guessed it, radishes. Begoony's allergies cause him to break out in hives and become extremely sick, which leaves him feeling left out and lonely.
The gang tries their best to help Begoony feel included, but it's not the same if he can't join them in their favorite pastime – eating radishes. They try offering him other foods, like Doozer sticks or music from the Gorg's garden, but nothing seems to work.
One day, when Begoony is feeling particularly down, Gobo Fraggle discovers a clue that leads him to seek out a creature called the "Mediator" who might be able to help Begoony with his allergies. Gobo sets off on a quest to find the Mediator and bring back a solution for Begoony's problem.
Meanwhile, the other Fraggles are trying to keep Begoony entertained and included in their fun. They have a dance party and an art show, but Begoony can't participate because of his allergies. They even try to perform a play for him, but it goes comically wrong.
Gobo eventually returns with a bottle of "Fraggle Juice" that the Mediator has prescribed for Begoony's allergies. The Fraggles are skeptical at first, but when Begoony drinks the juice, his allergies disappear and he feels better than ever.
The episode ends with Begoony finally being able to enjoy his time with the Fraggles, eating radishes and doing everything else they do. The lesson the Fraggles learn is that having a friend in need requires patience, persistence, and a willingness to help in any way possible.
