Ep 24. New Trash Heap in Town

In the episode "New Trash Heap in Town" of Fraggle Rock season 1, the Fraggles discover that a new trash heap has been created nearby. At first, they are excited about the prospect of finding new treasures within it, but soon realize that the trash heap is causing problems for their entire ecosystem.

As the Fraggles explore the new trash heap, they notice that the Garbage Heap, the wise and all-knowing being that presides over all garbage in Fraggle Rock, has not moved from her previous location. With the help of the Trash Heap's assistant Marjory the Trash Heap, the Fraggles devise a plan to persuade the Garbage Heap to move to the new trash heap. However, when they present their case to the Garbage Heap, they are met with resistance. The Garbage Heap believes that the new trash heap is a threat to her power and does not want to leave her current location.

Undeterred, the Fraggles enlist the help of some unlikely allies- the Doozers. The Doozers, who are builders and inventors, create a device that can transport the Garbage Heap to the new trash heap without disrupting her power. With the device in hand, the Fraggles set out to convince the Garbage Heap to move.

Finally, after much persuasion, the Garbage Heap agrees to move to the new trash heap, and the Fraggles breathe a sigh of relief. With balance restored to their world, they can once again enjoy their food, music, and swimming hole.

The episode ends on a positive note, with the Fraggles grateful for their renewed sense of harmony and balance. As they frolic in the sun, singing and dancing, it's clear that they have a newfound appreciation for the importance of balance and harmony in their world.
