Four in a Bed is a reality TV show where 4 different bed and breakfast owners take turns hosting each other and then rate the experience on a number of categories, such as cleanliness, comfort, and breakfast quality. The guests include a couple from Kent who are seasoned B&B goers, a pair of friends from Scotland who are looking forward to some hillwalking, and a father and daughter from Northamptonshire who are on a history-themed trip.
The third stop is a historic B&B in the town of Shrewsbury. The owners have restored the Grade II listed building to its former glory and have worked hard to keep certain original features intact. The guests include 2 couples, one from London and one from Surrey, who are looking for a relaxing break, and a father and son from Hertfordshire who have a keen interest in architecture.
The final B&B is located in Aldridge in the West Midlands. The owners, a husband and wife team, have taken a gamble by going for a more contemporary, minimalist style and are hoping that this will appeal to their guests. The guests include 2 friends from Bristol, a couple from Newcastle who are foodies, and a mother and daughter from Surrey who are looking for some quality mother-daughter time.
Throughout the week, the guests will take it in turns to critique each B&B and will score them out of ten in various categories. The owners will then respond to the feedback and defend their property. At the end of the week, the scores will be tallied up and the winner will be announced.
