Four in a Bed is a popular British reality television show that follows four bed and breakfast owners as they compete against each other to be crowned the best value for money accommodation. Each day, the contestants stay at one another's establishments and then pay what they believe their stay was worth. At the end of the week, the owner with the highest score wins a cash prize and bragging rights as the best value for money in the competition.
In series 10 episode 4, we meet four new B&B owners who will compete against each other over the course of the week. The first stop is The Eiders, a family-run business in the North Norfolk town of Dersingham. Owners Jan and Richard welcome their fellow contestants with open arms and show them around their spacious and comfortable accommodation. They are keen to impress and are confident that their warm hospitality and attention to detail will set them apart from the competition.
The second day of the competition takes us to Eastfield Lodge in the market town of Leyburn. Owners Rose and Vince have prepared traditional English breakfast for the competitors, and they are pleased to be showing off their beautiful period property, which they renovated themselves. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and offer stunning views of the surrounding Yorkshire Dales. Rose and Vince are confident that their attention to detail and love for their property will make them the favourites for the competition.
On day three, the competitors visit St Benedicts Byre in the picturesque village of Snowshill in Gloucestershire. Owners Emma and Tim have turned a dilapidated cowshed into a luxurious B&B, and they are thrilled to have the chance to show off their labour of love. The property offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and boasts a state-of-the-art hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Emma and Tim are confident that their unique selling points will earn them top marks from their fellow competitors.
The fourth and final day of the competition brings the competitors to Bryn Elltyd, an eco-friendly B&B in the heart of Snowdonia. Owners Martin and Helen have built their property using sustainable materials and have invested in renewable energy sources such as solar panels and wind turbines. They are proud of their commitment to protecting the environment and are eager to show their fellow competitors what makes Bryn Elltyd stand out from the rest. The accommodation is cosy and comfortable, and the surrounding scenery is stunning. Martin and Helen hope that their eco-friendly approach will earn them top marks from the judges.
As the competition draws to a close, tensions rise, and the competitors become increasingly competitive. Each owner believes that their B&B deserves to win, and they are all hoping to score highly in the final vote. But who will come out on top?
